Continuing with my 2nd pick on this pair. Fenix were lucky to lose only by 0-1 in the first leg saving some hopes for the return, as expected U de Chile proved their class and totally outplayed the Uruguayans creating and missing many great chances (closed by hitting the woodwork in the last minute) while Fenix were quite hopeless, didn't have even one shot on goal for 90 minutes. More info on these teams is available in my previous pick:
In the weekend U de Chile made 5 changes in midfield and attack to save some physical resources, even so didn't have problems to beat Cobreloa by 3-1 and extend their solid form. Fenix used their first eleven in the opening round in uruguay, won 2-0 over El Tanque Sisley who are quite poor team actually and not any benchmark.
Fenix will be without one of their important figures in the midfield Fabián Trujillo who was sent-off in Santiago.
As the stadium of Fenix is not licensed for international games this will be played on the big Centenario, Albivioletas don't have many fans and the facility will look quite desert for a real home atmosphere. The Chilean champion is no doubt much better than Fenix and I don't see a reason to be underdog here.
