It is absolutely turbulent season for Universitario due to the deep economic problems, the club lost 5 points due to federation decisions (the standings in most of the international stats sites are wrong), currently U have 32 points, just 2 pts above the relegation zone with 3 rounds to go. The participation in Copa Sudamericana also disfocused Cremas forcing them to play with understrength team in many games. Now Universitario have to play 3 "finals" at least to keep their place in Primera. This club is institution in Peru and in one way or another won't relegate, this is 99% sure, even if they are not strong enough on the pitch they will receive a push. The good news are that finally the club found some money and cleared the most urgent payments so here the federation won't deduct any won points from this game.
Cobresol are also in the same mess, no money and quite probably even if they take points today they will lose them because the debts (which already happened earlier to Universitario). Los Dorados still have some vague chance for Copa Sudamericana but in this situation it looks mission impossible. In the last round Cobresol lost from Cesar Vallejo who were missing almost their entire first eleven due to injuries and suspensions.
Cobresol are very weak host, won just 3 of their 13 games in Moquegua and U are on the edge to take their first away win for the season but covering with draw is obligatory, as mentioned Universitario can eventually take crucial 3 points later no matter of the result on the pitch but they should try to do it by playing too and not rely on what the federation will decide.
John Galliquio, Antonio Gonzales and Raul Ruidíaz are injured for U, all others available which means Cremas will appear with better lineup compared with many previous games.
