The opening Asian odds (Arsenal -1) were demolished quite early but anyway nothing else than comfortable win for the Argentineans is expected so -1.5 can be taken too. The reason is that Sport Huancayo have nothing in common with the last season and hardly competitive on international level. The coach Roberto Mosquera and almost all good players left, just 3 regulars stayed - Figueroa, Rafael Farfan and Blas Lopez. The new team seems a lot weaker, many new players on average to mediocre level from other fringe Peruvean clubs that will surely need time to gell together and a hard season is expected.
Arsenal de Sarandi kept the bigger part of their team, the notable departure is Obolo (topscorer of the team) who is expected to be replaced by some of the new signings in attack Jorge Cordoba (former striker of River Plate and Gimnasia LP returning home after he couldn't find a regular spot in the mighty Deportivo Quito) and the Colombian Carlos Carbonero.
Sport Huancayo are known with good results mostly when they play on high altitude but it is quite different in "normal" conditions, often an easy prey. They took a further hit as it seems the return leg won't be played in Huancayo due to problems with licensing the stadium for CONMEBOL competitions. Probably it will take place in Cusco or Arequipa, still places on high altitude so Arsenal will be serious to get a good advantage and finish their job in the first leg at home.
With the initial handicap I would use a high stake as I don't see how the Peruvenas can stay unbeaten but due to losing some value and the bigger spread going with careful stake.
