Fluminense having a rock-solid start of Campeonato Carioca, won both games so far with 3-0 over Friburguense and Volta Redonda. This is the last game when Flu will be in full power with all best players as next week starting in Copa Libertadores will use mainly reserves on the domestic scene and should be serious to strengthen before that their position on top of the table. The game will take place in Volta Redonda where Flu played again in the weekend against the local team, not really important as the torcida follows its team everywere especially in the Rio state. The expected lineup:
Diego Cavalieri, Bruno, Leandro Euzébio, Anderson, Carlinhos; Edinho, Diguinho, Wagner, Deco; Rafael Sobis, Fred.
Boavista are modest team playing only on local level, tough one however, last year did great in Taca Guabanara for their size and having some experienced players in the squad. However the most notable of them - Luiz Alberto (defender, former player of Flu who scored 2 goals for the 3-1 win over Duque in the first round) is injured and will be missed. In the other game so far Boavista got 1-1 with Americano. Not saying it will be easy as Boavista can be hard nut despite their low profile but with the outstanding form Flu are showing and with their best eleven tonight the grand deserves a small stake.
