Bad call last week with the over on Itagui - Atletico Nacional, chances weren't lacking simply Itagui resisted well on their small and depressing stadium, even got all 3 points a bit lucky with a shot from 40 meters. Anyway I still believe that Atletico Nacional will pay in the long term with better scoring games when we have such low lines as 2.25 (I personally expected 2.5 Asian goal line). Simply los verdolagas have too many proven and quality scorers (even more than last season) - Pabon, Renteria, Mosquera, Fano etc. which means offensive football and producing mostly "overs" as it was in 2011. After the wrong step at Itagui Atletico Nacional will look to repeat their display from the first round when they hammered Deportivo Cali wth 4-0. A game with Universidad de Chile is coming next midweek but Santiago Escobar is not planning to rest anyone, just Fano will start on the bench for tactical decision replaced in attack by Diego Alvarez (another well experienced striker).
Chico started bad with 0-3 loss at Huila followed by 1-1 at hime vs La Equidad. Not much expected from the team which is predominantly quite young and loss here in Medellin is expected but odds are too low. I prefer over 2.25, odds are good and for me there should be at least 2 goals in this game.
